Devotees of social networking site Facebook continue to grow. Each day, Facebook success gets 600,000 new users.

Statistics cited in the independent blog, Inside Facebook. According to Justin Smith, editor of Inside Facebook, if Facebook’s growth can still consistent, this site will have 200 million active users in March 2009.

Facebook announce that at this time, there are approximately 140 million active Facebook users around the world.

Quoted from Cnet, most of users are from outside United States. For data such as statistics firm Nielsen or comScore show that Facebook users in United States only 50 millions.

On the other hand, this fantastic user growth is clearly brisk. However, Facebook should continually strive to maintain stability so that the service system run smoothly even though there are so many people who access it.
