This is only my prediction. Tube monitor will vanished and replaced with LCD in 2010. I see that the prices of LCD is become lower day-by-day. All countries in United States and Europe have been almost no longer uses Tube monitor.

In Asia, only Southeast Asia that are still many people using tube monitor. In Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong, the price of LCD is falling, and almost every 2 – 3 days, LCD prices could go down. In just a month can go down, reaching 5% – 10%.

According to Samsung, in 2010 each person can buy a LCD TV. This is because when the sales down, then automatically the prices will also down sharply. In a forum, Mr. Jun Hyung Souk, Samsung display R & D’s VP said that LCD prices will fall in 2010, fall to 40%, therefore buyers can enjoy the cheap technology.

Samsung will develop other products such as 3D display technology, OLED, gadgets device including Folding LCD and paper display-based LCD.

Now LCD TV and monitor technology is still discussing HD 1080p resolution. The future technology will use the display 2160p resolution, and will enter the market in 2011.
