The Hidden Secrets Of Google Chrome
This could be true. Based on my experience, Google Chrome has some additional feature that can named as “hidden secrets”. Here are some hidden secrets in Google Chrome:
1. Incognito Window (Control + Shift + N)
2. Alt + Home or Control + T
Showing all sites and bookmarks that have been opened by the previous users in thumbnails. This feature is available in Opera browser and addons in Firefox. Alt + Home to open a site on a same page, while Control + T on a new page.
3. Control + Shift + T
Opening the tab that is accidentally closed when browsing. Google Chrome can remember up to 10 tabs that are not deliberately closed.
4. Control + Tab (Control + Shift + Tab)
Try use this shortcut to move tab quickly, Control + tab to move forward and Control + Shift + Tab to reverse. Another way to open the tab in sequence way is going with Control + 1, Control + 2 to Control + 9.
5. Opening Link Site faster
To open a link site quickly, Google Chrome provides the same features as Firefox 3, click and drag the tab links to browser tab.
6. Bookmark Site faster
Click the star on the left of your browser address bar . Chrome address barĀ can also function as a direct search to search sites we want.
7. Control + B
Remove and show browser Bookmark quickly.
8. Control + H
Open all sites that have been visited (history) quickly. On the right there is the option to delete history for this day, if you want to delete the history about the sites you had visited on the current day.
9. Control + A
Open the download files window. Shortcut is the same as in Firefox.
10. Shift + Escape
Open Google Chrome task manager quickly to see memory use and to turn off the tab that has the potential to make browser heavy.
Enter the word about: plugins in the address bar to see what plugins are installed on Chrome. And about: crashes to see what makes Chrome crash, or freeze. Other features: about: stats, about: network, about: histograms, about: memory, about: cache, about: dns, about: internets.
12. Access menu on Chrome
Users can access the menu to customize or Optimize on the right side of the browser. Choose menu with clicking ‘key’ image and choose option. There are many options such as making Chrome as default browser, change default Search, change the language, and others.
