Create Online Document File On Google Docs
Have a gmail account, meaning have a ticket to many online features for free, in addition to the large capacity provided on Gmail. One of it is Office online facility, that we can make online office files (Excel, PowerPoint, pdf, word) with it.
To be able to take advantage of this facility, of course, we must have a Gmail account first. Get in to office on-line in several ways:
- Enter to Gmail account, and click link Documents (upper left); or
- Go to docs.google.com, then log in as usual.

- Create a basic document from the beginning. Files created directly from Google Docs. File types are document file (. Odt,. Doc,. Rtf), spreadsheet (. Xls,. Ods,. Csv), PowerPoint (. Ppt), and html. Click New (number 1 on picture), and then specify the options file that you want to create.
- Uploading our offline files. Popular file format, such as DOC, XLS, ODT, ODS, RTF, CSV, PPT, etc., can be received by Google Docs. But for Microsoft Office 2007 (xlsx, docx, pptx) I try to upload them, but can not be uploaded to Google Docs. To upload a file, click the Upload (number 2 on picture) and then select the file you will upload, and click Upload File button.
- Share files for other users. File sharing can also be done. Click on the alert box in front of the file name, then click link Share (number 3 on picture). On the menu that appears, type / enter the e-mail address to whom you want to share, then click Invite Collaborators. You can select E-mail address from your contacts list.
- Download the created file, edit and sharing. Click the box in front of the file and click More actions (number 4 on picture). From the menu that appears, you can determine the type of file extension you want to download (PDF, RTF, DOC, ODT, HTML, and TEXT).
- Google Docs provided +300 templates ready to use for document, spreadsheet dan presentation (powerpoint).
